Media & Communications

We are passionate about using our expert knowledge of domestic abuse to educate, inform and affect change. We know that media and communications are key tools for achieving this mission.

We have produced a variety of media to raise awareness of our services, campaign for change and enhance widespread understandings of domestic abuse.

Check out all of our online media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and our second Instagram specifically for our young women’s service, Enough!!.

About Us

We were established in 1973 during the second wave of the women’s liberation movement – a period where activists collectively recognised that there was a need to provide support and safe refuge to women experiencing domestic abuse. Initially, our focus was on women’s experiences, but as the organisation evolved our focus included children and young people.
