Full time 35 hours per week
Salary £32,001, plus 7.5% Out of Hours Allowance
12 month fixed term contract with possible extension

Are you passionate about children and children’s rights? Do you enjoy working with
children and do you have experience of working with children who have experienced
trauma? We are looking for a CYP Outreach and Prevention Worker to join our team and
provide vital support to children dealing with the trauma of domestic abuse.
Our service is delivered to school age children, predominantly in a school environment. You will
provide therapeutic 1-1 and focused group work to children and young people ensuring
the service is driven by them and their needs. You will also deliver our unique prevention
programme to schools across Glasgow to educate children and young people about
domestic abuse in an age appropriate way.
It is essential that you have experience of supporting children and young people who
have experienced gender based violence.
A qualification relevant to working with children and young people, such as SVQ Level 3 Social Service (Children and Young People) is also required. The nature of our work requires a commitment to the feministanalysis of domestic abuse and to the values of Glasgow Women’s Aid. Due to the
nature of the role it is essential that you have a driving license and access to a car.
